Very elegant Ocean Liner extremely spacious. Décor lovely warm beige brown, cream and deep reds. A very impressive staircase. Carries a crew of 900 and uses US currency.
Balcony rooms are small. You can upgrade to the Grills- Princess or Queens Grills. If you are booked in Queens Grill you can dine at both Princess and Queens Grills. However, if booked in Princess Grills you can only dine in Princess Grill. Both areas are very pleasant and there is quite a lot of space between dining tables. There is an outdoor courtyard from both grills.
The Verve Clicquot Lounge is a standout.
There are a number of restaurants; The Veranda – Fine French Fare – 3 course meals for $20 and the chef will cook at your table, 5 star service. The Britannia, Lido Buffet. The Queens Room hosts high tea daily at 4.30pm. It also offers ballroom dancing classes.
The Royal Arcade has a variety of high end shops.
There is a Churchill Cigar room and the cabinet is well stocked. It is next door to the Commodore Lounge. There is a wide selection of bars with a great selection of seating and most bars have a piano player. The English Pub is called The Golden Lion. The casino is called Empire. The nightclub is called Hemispheres. There is a theatre.
World Voyage Concierge Lounge is reserved for Full World Voyage guests only.
The Library is very impressive with beautiful book cases and a spiral staircase leading to the upper level.
There 4 pools and 2 Jacuzzi’s. The gym is moderate size with a great selection of equipment, Royal Bath House offers a very relaxing experience. The beauty salon uses Elemis Products.
